Leslie Sobol, affectionately known as “Global Sobol,” is a seasoned U.S. tax expert with a passion for demystifying complex tax laws. With over 20 years of experience, she helps businesses, accounting professionals and individuals navigate the challenges of cross-border tax compliance.
As an educator and advisor, Leslie specializes in equipping small and mid-sized accounting and law firms with the knowledge and tools needed to identify international tax issues, minimize risks and stay compliant with ever-changing U.S. regulations. Her engaging seminars provide practical, easy-to-follow strategies that accountants and lawyers can immediately apply to better serve their clients.
Beyond her work with clients as a partner at Lucas Horsfall, Leslie is actively involved in shaping the next generation of tax professionals. She serves on the professional advisory board of the Graduate School of Taxation at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) and is the founding editor of The Tax Development Journal. She holds a Master of Science degree in Taxation from California State University, Northridge (CSUN), and a certificate in International Taxation from Golden Gate University.
